Hi and welcome to our website. This comes to you with all the love and greetings from the Congregational Church in Oakham. We are very fortunate to be set in one of the loveliest counties in the country and one of the smallest, Rutland. If ever you want to see some agreeable and gentle English countryside, then this is the place to come.
There has been a Congregational Fellowship in Oakham since 1662. The current Church building is in the middle of the High Street and first opened its doors in 1861. In October 2011 the church held its 150th Anniversary at this site.
We meet for worship on Sunday at 11am. We have a Monday Bible study, a coffee morning-drop-in centre on Wednesday and a country market on Fridays. Other events and meetings as required.
It is a busy church, offering a warm welcome to any who wish to join us. We shall obviously update our site as and when, so…watch this space!
